Speaker's Profile:
Professor Rabinovitch is a member of the faculty of Finance at the Bauer School of Business, the University of Houston since 1980. Previously, he has been at the University of Rochester, New York, and the University of Haifa, Israel. Professor Rabinovitch is the recipient of the 1998-1999 USA Government Fulbright Teaching and Research Award in Argentina and the 1992/3 and 1993/4 recipient of the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Madrid Business School. Professor Rabinovitch has published extensively in the top journals in Finance. He has won the 2003 best paper award of the Emerging Market Review. In recent years professor Rabinovitch was interested in Derivatives and he has been invited to teach and give seminars on this subject in various institutions around the world. Currently, his research interests are in the use of Derivative in hedging activities be firms' CEOs.
