“Global Investment Process” Professor Bruno Solnik

The course will cover various aspects of the global investment process. The detailed course outline is given below.

There is a textbook that will be used throughout the course.

Global Investments, with Dennis McLeavey, 6th edition, Pearson-Addison Wesley, 2008.
The previous edition was titled International Investments, 5th edition, 2005.

There will be two classes per day, starting Wednesday April 9th at 15:00-16:00 and 16:10-17:10. The topics covered are:

Class 2: Global Asset Allocation
Class 3: Hedging Currency Risk
Class 4: Hedging Currency Risk (2)
Class 5: Options and Insuring
Class 6: Global Bonds

Professor Solnik will use Powerpoint presentations. A hardcopy of the slides will be made available before class.
