Speaker's Profile

David Schwartz is Chief technology Officer at Ripple. He is one of the original architects of the Ripple consensus network. Prior to joining Ripple, he was Chief Technical Officer for WebMaster Incorporated, a Santa Clara software developer. He developed encrypted cloud storage and enterprise messaging systems for organizations like CNN and the National Security Agency. Known as “JoelKartz,” he is a respected voice in the digital currency community.

Emi Yoshikawa is the Sr. Director of Global Operations at Ripple and is responsible for expanding Ripple’s businesses into strategic international markets and managing joint venture partnership. In 2017, she was selected as a top 50 “Women in Fintech” Influencer by Onalytica in 2017. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is also a CFA charterholder.
